PURPOSE:To prevent any uneven disc abrasion caused by the state of a frictional pad coming in uneven contact with a disc, by making abrasive containing rate of a sliding surface layer in the end zone of a frictional pad smaller than that of the central zone. CONSTITUTION:A frictional pad 10 is arranged in its attitude as shown in figure with respect to the rotational direction A of a disc D. The frictional pad 10 is joined to a backing metal 18 with thermosetting resin adhesive. The frictional pad 10 is arranged in three divided zones 12, 14 16 along the rotational direction A, and the abrasive containing rate in the end zones 14, 16 is smaller than that of the central zone 12, at least, in their sliding surfaces. It is preferable that the abrasive containing rate is changed gradually on the boundary part of each zone of the frictional pad 10. For example, when the frictional pad material mixed with the abrasive made of magnetic material is put into a mould, the magnetic field can be formed at any desired place and the abrasive can also be placed in deflective positions with magnetic attraction by making the mould to be vibrated.
