摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly detect a height and to reduce equipment cost, by inclining a traction member by the displacement of a barrier corresponding to a sedimentation state. CONSTITUTION:A rotary body 2 and an arm 3 integrally rotate by the driving of a motor M and a stirring blade 12 is dragged by a chain 11 while stirring a sedimentation layer 1. A traction material 5 rotates while draws a barrier plate 7 by the rotation of the arm 3 but the barrier plate 7 is placed under the resistance of sedimented slip to be always positioned at the upper part of the sedimentation layer 1 without being sunk. Therefore, the barrier plate 7 displaces so as to follow the sedimentation state of the slip and also upwardly moves as the sedimentation layer 1 becomes high. As a result, the traction material 5 connecting the barrier plate 7 revolves around a pin 6 to be inclined toward a rotary direction. By this method, the traction material 5 is revolved while the barrier plate 7 is always positioned at the upper part of the sedimentation layer 1 and, by detecting the inclination state of the traction member 5, thereby the height of the sedimentation layer 1 can be detected.
