PURPOSE:To reduce the oscillation and acceleration of a hull caused by waves for improving riding quality by supporting upper structures on the hull with a bumping support having a gas reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A gas spring 15 for both controlling and balancing with a piston cylinder connected to a gas reservoir 25 supports an upper structure 2 on a hull. The gas spring 15 or gas reservoir 25 connected to a high pressure gas generator 17 and a high pressure gas filling valve 18, and the gas spring 15 and the gas reservoir 25 communicates to the atmosphere through a relief valve 19. Said valve 18 and relief valve 19 are opened and closed according to the command of a pressure adjusting controller 20 to adjust the gas pressure in the gas spring 15 and gas reservoir 25 and reduce the swing of upper structure.
