PURPOSE:To suppress the temperature rise of permanent magnets without lowering the magnetic efficiency by leaving fine recesses and projections generated by the water draining in the production process of the permanent magnets as they are on the magnetic pole face brought into contact with the yoke of the permanent magnets. CONSTITUTION:Fine recesses and projections 12 generated by the water draining in the production process of permanent magnets 9, 10 are left as they are on the magnetic pole face brought into contact with the yoke of the permanent magnets, and these fine recesses and projections are brought into contact with the yoke 11 and magnetically coupled with it. These fine recesses and projections face sides are the weak magnetic faces of the permanent magnets 9, 10, and the opposite strong magnetic faces are magnetically coupled with pole pieces 3, 4 at the ends of an anode cylinder 1. The fine recesses and projections 12 are thus provided on the magnetic pole faces of the permanent magnets 9, 10, and the surface area is increased. The temperature of the permanent magnets can be reduced without almost lowering the magnetic efficiency accordingly.
