PURPOSE:To improve the shaping effect without laboring by selecting a proper method from methods approximating the interdiction processing, which a person performs, to generate shaped candidates. CONSTITUTION:A document management part 3 sends inputted original sentences to a interdiction detecting part 4 with a part ending with the line feed code as one sentence. The interdiction detecting part 4 determines a interdiction part and determines the number of characters to be shaped. A interdiction processing range limiting part 6 limits the range where the interdiction part detected by the interdiction detecting part 4 is shaped. A interdiction candidate generating part 7 selects and applies a proper interdiction processing method to the sentence, which is determined by the interdiction processing range limiting part 6, on the basis of contents of a interdiction processing method dictionary 8 to generate shaped candidates. Generated shaped candidates are stored in a processed document storage part 9 and are displayed on a display part 12 by a display control part 11.
