PURPOSE:To perform a processing more flexible and complicated than ever, by always generating the centroid of a tool in which an offset is applied by the radius of the tool at each point of a shape desired to be worked in a direction of normal line. CONSTITUTION:A command analyzing part 3 analyzes speed data, final position information, the kind of an interpolation curve, tool diameter correcting information, the radius R of the tool, and information concerning to the direction of the advancement of the tool supplied from a host CPU, etc., as input command data 2. A locus generating part 4 generates the locus of the interpolation curve based on the analysis of those data. A travel data generating part 5 calculates the offset quantities in the x-axis and y-axis of the radius R of the tool in the direction of normal line of the interpolation curve at respective time of sampling for the locus generated at the locus generating part 4, and generates x-axis and y-axis travel data (xsi) and (eta) of the center of the tool. A final point discriminating part 6 judges the stop of the generation of the locus.
