PURPOSE:To improve the generating efficiency of an application program, by providing newly a data switching area and a data switching means. CONSTITUTION:When data is switched between the application programs A1 and B3, the format and the attribute of a data record are specified on a directory part 21 by the registering function of the data switching means 200 based on the instruction of the program A1, and a first data record targeted to be switched is registered. Thereby, data switching area data 2 is registered. And in the area 2, the data record targeted to be switched is added by the additional function of the data switching means 200. Thus, the reference of the data record is performed by the reference function of the data switching means 200 on the data switching area data 2 based on the instruction of the application program B3 at the next stage.
