PURPOSE:To preclude a secular change by packaging an integrated panel with a light source by using a moisture resistant film. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal panel 10 which has polarizing plates 7 and 8 adhered on both top and reverse surfaces and a light source 11 which is arranged on the reverse side of the panel 10 are united by joining their peripheries with resin 21 for adhesion while they are position. Then, a fluororesin film 20 which has superior weatherability and moisture resistance, e.g. tetrafluoroethylene or poly(vinyl fluoride) film is used to package the liquid crystal panel 10 and light source 11 so that the entire peripheral flank of the panel is covered including an end surface 22 in the thickness direction of the integrated panel. Further, a thickness-directional end surface 22' where the external connection terminal 18 of the liquid crystal panel 10 and the power source terminal 19 of the light source 11 are formed and the film at the part are removed or cut. Consequently, the liquid crystal panel which has stable secular display characteristics is obtained.
