PURPOSE:To provide an adequate moisture content to a titled lens and to enhance the oxygen permeability thereof by forming said lens of a copolymer essentially consisting of acryloyl morpholine. CONSTITUTION:This contact lens is formed of the copolymer of the acryloyl morpholine expressed by the formula (A) and the other monomer [i.e.: alkyl(meth)acrylate]. The homopolymer of the component A exhibits a high hydrous property but the copolymer of an adequate ratio of he component A and prescribed vinyl monomer, etc., has the adequate moisture content and hardly cause sticking of protein, etc. Since the rupture strength increases, the lens is easy to handle. Furthermore, the oxygen permeability is enhanced and the long-term wearing is possible.
