PURPOSE:To prevent concentration of wirings on the channel central part and generation of a problem of unconnection for improving reliability, by forming the cell rows consisting of a plurality of rectangular basic cells in an arrangement of large number so as to have the rows of a variety of directions and to constitute a desired functional circuit by performing necessary wirings. CONSTITUTION:In a semiconductor IC circuit device where the cell rows 111-113 consisting of a plurality of rectangular basic cells 141-143 are formed in an arrangement of large number so as to constitute a desired functional circuit by performing necessary wirings, the cell rows 111-113 are arranged so as to have the rows of a variety of directions. Thereby, when the wiring requirement from the basic cell 141 of the cell row 113 to the basic cell 142, a wiring crowding degree of each channel is unified in the cell row arrangement having the rows of a variety of directions so that the wiring can be performed without much widening the channel width even when the shortest course wiring is performed. |
