PURPOSE:To prepare a uniform and stable hologram by processing a bleached silver white hologram subjected to prescribed processing by a solvent which is a non-solvent to gelatin, is compatible with water and has the b.p. lower than the b.p. of the water, and drying the hologram, then subjecting the hologram to a heat treatment in a specific temp. range under specific relative humidity or above. CONSTITUTION:The bleaching type silver salt hologram which is recorded with prescribed diffraction patterns and is subjected to developing, fixing and bleaching processes is subjected to a so-called drip-proof process by the solvent which is a non-solvent to the gelatin, is compatible with the water and has the b.p. lower than the b.p. of the water. After the hologram is dried, the hologram is heat-treated at 50-120 deg.C, more preferably 50-80 deg.C under 50-100%, more preferably 60-100% relative humidity, by which the stable bleaching type silver slat hologram having uniform characteristics is prepd.
