PURPOSE:To enable utilization of an abundant quantity of heat at a low cost, by a method wherein through heat exchange of subterranean heat, hot water is produced, and the hot water energy is utilized in a multistage according to drop in temperature. CONSTITUTION:Hot water pumped up from a hot water well 1 exchanges heat with water by means of a heat exchanger 3, and a heating medium water the temperature of which is increased is fed to an air conditioner for melting roof snow and an air conditioner for heating through a pump 2. Simultaneously, the heating medium water flows, in order, through processes of floor heating, hot water feed, road snow melting by means of a different system to emit heat and is gradually reduced in temperature. The heating medium water the temperature of which is decreased to approximate 25 deg.C emits heat at a heat exchanger 6 being attendant to a heat accumulating tank 5 to decrease its heat to approximate 15 deg.C. Thereafter, the heating medium water is returned to a heat exchanger 3 being attendant to the hot water well 1 for the circulating use. In the heat accumulating tank 5, water having approximate 5 deg.C, fed from the external and stored in a low temperature part 5-1 is heat-exchanged by means of the heat exchanger 6 to increase temperature to approximate 20 deg.C for storage in a high temperature part 5-2. The water is pumped up with the aid of the pump 2 to use it for an open air processing air conditioner, parking area snow melting (sprinkling), etc.
