PURPOSE:To make the gradation processing or the like of original pictures possible, by selecting a processing mode of picture information read from originals which are transmitted to an external device. CONSTITUTION:Original picture information read from a reader part 500 is converted to original picture digital information by a CCD driver 50 or the like of a picture processing control part 100 and is stored in a buffer memory 20 through an exchange 40. This information is transmitted to the external device through the exchange 40 by long-distance and short-distance communication devices formed with interfaces 60 and 70. In this case, an operation part interface 58 is operated in response to an operation part 550 of the reader part 500, and the driver 50 is controlled through a dither controller 54 by a CPU10 to select gradation or the like of transmission picture information. Thus, the gradation processing of original pictures can be performed also in the picture processing device where picture processings and short-distance and long-distance communications of picture information are performed easily and quickly. |
