The vane-cell vacuum pump is used to generate a vacuum for, in particular, the braking system of a motor vehicle. The pump is driven by one of the motor shafts and for this purpose is flange-mounted on the motor housing in alignment with the motor shaft. To compensate for alignment errors, this is effected with a loosely inserted coupling disc. In order to be able to stock and assemble the pump together with the coupling disc, the pump housing (4) has a bearing hub (37) which projects into the motor housing (2). At the end of the inner circumference of the bearing hub (37) there is inserted a securing ring (8), the internal diameter of which is smaller than the external diameter of the coupling disc (15).
