PURPOSE:To improve the maintenance properties by monitoring the time during which a command is produced from a channel set at one side and an accordant command is received from the corresponding channel set at the other side. CONSTITUTION:A program of the X side issues an input/output instruction and starts an inter-channel connecting device CTCA 1 by a command signal 13 via a CPUX 11 and a channel CHX 12 for transmission of a command. A CTCH 1 sets an interruption signal 24 at 1 and a program of the Y side performs an interruption process via a CPUY 21 and a channel CHY 22 to produce a corresponding command. A command control part 2 starts a timer 3 after receiving a command from the X side and setting the signal 24 at 1. When an accordant command is received from the Y side, the timer 3 is stopped and then set at its initial value. When the timer 3 is set at a fixed value with no reception of the accordant command from the Y side, an interruption control part 4 sets an interruption signal 14 at 1 and delivers an end report. |
