PURPOSE:To make ease of miniaturization and maintenance as well as to prevent a supercharger from overheating by projecting a cylinder or the like frontward from a crankcase and setting up a carburetor at the front side of a farm working machine at the flank of a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 7, a cylinder head 8 and a head cover 9 of an over head valve engine 2 are all projected frontward from a crankcase 5, while a maintenance service port 18 is opened to a front wall 17 of a soundproof case 1 as adjoined in a carburetor 10 and the cylinder head 8. With this constitu tion, maintenance work in the head cover 9 and adjustments for adjusting parts 11-13 for the carburetor 10 are performable from this maintenance service port 18. Consequently, at time of being mounted on a vehicle, the degree of freedom from the setting standpoint is thus increased. In addition, since a super charger 10 is situated at the flank side of the cylinder head 8 and at the front side of a farm working machine 3, overheating comes hard to occur so that the engine is made installable in close proximity to the farm working machine 3, thus it is miniaturizable as a whole. |
