摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of slant movement and meandering of a continuous recording sheet by laying an endless belt having projections adapted to be fitted and engaged in feed holes in the continuous recording sheet, on the recording sheet introduction side of a fixing unit, rotatably with a predetermined circumferential resistance in the sheet conveying direction. CONSTITUTION:Projections 91A on the outer surface of an endless belt 91 in a tension exerting mechanism 9 pierce and engage in feed holes in both right and left ends of a fun-fold sheet 10 between an exposure drum 1 and a fixing unit 8, and the endless belt 91 is therefore pulled by the fun-fold sheet 10 conveyed in the fixing unit 8 so that the endless belt 91 is circumferentially driven. Due to the circumferential resistance of the endless belt 91, a certain tension (back-tension) is exerted to the fun-fold sheet 10 between the tension exerting mechanism 9 and the fixing unit 8. As a result, the condition of the fun-fold sheet 10 introduced into between a pair of fixing rolls 81 is made to be uniform, thereby it is possible to prevent occurrence of slant movement and meandering of the fun-fold sheet 10.
