An aminoglycoside compound represented by the following formula (1) (1) wherein R1 and R2 are different from each other and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group or a methoxy group, A represents a residue of a C2-C11 amino acid or a residue of a dipeptide composed of two said amino acids which are identical or different, and n represents 1 or 2; and its acid addition salt; and a process for the production thereof.
