<p>The sewing thread comprises a core yarn which consists of continuous, largely fully drawn and fully set synthetic core filaments with a sheathing of fibres or filamentary elements of any desired origin. The core yarn has been folded together with at least one further yarn and then further processed, for example dyed, oiled or waxed. In a particularly easily and inexpensively produced sewing thread, the at least one yarn folded together with the core yarn is a textured, in particular air textured, yarn or a spun yarn which consists of any desired material or mixture of materials.</p> |
