PURPOSE:To house sheets reliably in a sheet discharge stacker, by journaling an auxiliary sheet discharge lever journaled with an auxiliary sheet discharge roller rotatably to the shaft of a, sheet discharge roller thereby utilizing self- weight of the axiliary sheet discharge lever. CONSTITUTION:A printed sheet 5b passes through sheet discharge rollers 9, 10 and lifts while pushing up an auxiliary sheet discharge lever 23. The sheet 5b can be pushed up because rigidity thereof is higher than the self-weight of the auxiliary sheet discharge lever 23. When the lowermost end of the sheet 5c arrives at the sheet discharge roller 9, the lowermost end of the sheet 5c is in pressure contact with the sheet discharge roller 9 by the self-weight of the auxiliary sheet discharge lever 23, so as to house the sheet 5c in a stacker 21 through rotary force of the sheet discharge roller 9 and pressure contacting force of an auxiliary sheet discharge roller 24. Since the sheet 5c is contained in the stacker 21 with lower portion thereof pressure contacting the auxiliary sheet discharge lever 23, the sheet is contained regularly with no loosening.
