PURPOSE:To facilitate production and to improve mass productivity as well as reliability and practicability by forming the film of a light guide on a mold having the shape of a light guide element and adhering the light guide and substrate. CONSTITUTION:The mold 10 having the shape of the light guide element is prepd. The light guide 11 is then formed on the mold 10. An adhesive agent 12 is coated on the light guide 11 and the substrate 13 is placed on the adhesive agent 12 and is adhered thereto. Thermosetting or photosetting resins, etc., which have the refractive index smaller than the refractive index of the light guide material and act to securely adhere the substrate 13 and the light guide 11 are adopted for the adhesive agent 12. The mold 10 and the light guide 11 are finally separated from the boundary therebetween, by which the light guide element is produced. A treatment with a release agent, etc., are carried out at need according to the combinations of the light guide materials and molds in this case. |
