PURPOSE:To eliminate waste of label, by rotating a stepping motor forward or rearward according to an output from a sensor for detecting the position of a sheet with respect to a print head and moving a base paper back and forth thereby positioning a head sheet at a predetermined printing position. CONSTITUTION:An output detected through a sensor A such as a separation sensor is inputted to a controller B which rotates a stepping motor C for driving a winding roller interlocked with a platen roller forward or rearward according to an output detected through the sensor A, so as to feed a base paper forward or rearward thus positioning a sheet (label). Consequently, a head label can be utilized effectively. |
