PURPOSE:To set a light-wave measuring instrument in a proper state of survey rapidly and accurately, by exhibiting two luminous figures on a collimation axis and by adjusting the surveying instrument so that the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the two figures be equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The main body 3b of a prism set 3 wherein a reflecting mirror 3a is incorporated is provided with six front optical fiber groups 11a-11f and four rear optical fiber groups 13a-13d, and in the rear of them red and green filters 16a and 16b and a lamp 18 are disposed. When a light-wave measurement is conducted in a tunnel or the like, a collimating surveying instrument and the prism set 3 to be collimated are made to face each other and the lamp 18 is lighted. Then two illuminant figures of six red illuminant points inside and four green illuminant points outside are seen. By giving an instruction to a prism operator to make the vertical and horizontal dimensions of these figures equal to each other, the surveying instrument can be set in a proper state of survey rapidly with ease.
