PURPOSE:To provide an inverter having a small size and a low cost and to enhance the reliability by connecting a comparator to a first controller, connecting a comparator to the outputs of first and second voltage dividing means, and providing a third switching element. CONSTITUTION:An inverter is composed of a load 3, and first second switching elements Q1-Q2, and has first-second controllers 5-6, and an oscillator 4. In this case, a comparator 7 is connected to the first controller 5, first second voltage dividing means 8-10 are connected to the comparator 7, a third switching element 10 is provided in parallel with a voltage dividing resistor R5, and a level shifter 11 driven by the output of the oscillator 4 is provided. Thus, even if an AC power source is altered from 100V to 200V, the resistance value constant is reset to simply provide a high dielectric strength circuit 11. |
