PRODUCTION OF MAGNETIC DISK MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of condensation on the surface of a magnetic disk medium and to uniformize the thickness of a lubricating agent by limiting the relative humidity of coating environment at the time of coating of the lubricating agent. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic Co base alloy film 3, a protective film 2 and the lubricating agent film 1 are successively formed on a substrate 4 formed with an Ni-P intermediate layer on an aluminum alloy disk. The relative humidity which is one of environmental conditions at the time of coating of the lubricating agent is limited at <=45%. The condensation to be generated when the solvent sprayed on the magnetic disk medium evaporates is thereby prevented and the film thickness of the lubricating agent is uniformized.
