PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition suitable as a material for hot-melt adhesive or powder coating compound, having excellent molding and processing properties, blocking resistance and coating performance, by blending specific a copolymer polyester with specific amounts of polybutylene terephthalate and a phosphorus compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. copolymer polyester obtained from an acid component of a dicarboxylic acid component 30-80mol.%, preferably 40-70mol.% terephthalic acid and a diol component (e.g. 1,4-butanediol or ethylene glycol) comprising one or more of 2-6C diols is blended with (B) 0.1-15pts.wt. preferably 0.5-10pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate and (C) 0.005-1pt.wt., preferably 0.01-0.5pt.wt. phosphorus compound (e.g. orthophosphoric acid or phosphorus acid).
