PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain high-quality laver at low drying temperature for a shortened time, by circulating laver drainboards having finished laver sheet formation and dehydration in a dryer and drying laver by using hot air made turbulent flow by vibrating laver drainboard frames. CONSTITUTION:Laver drainboards 8 having finished laver sheet formation and dehydration are delivered from a laver sheet formation chain 4 to a drying chain 5 of a dryer 3 and laver 12 is dried while being circulated in the dryer 3. In the operation, drainboards 9 are vibrated at given frequency by a vibrator 1 consisting of vibrating chains 13 which are equipped with vibrating pieces 15 and rotate around chain wheels 14 which are set above an upper transfer part 3A of a drying chain 5 placing the drainboard frames 9 holding the laver drainboards 8 and below a lower transfer part 3B so that hot air passing through the laver drainboards 8 is made into turbulent flow. The laver 12 on the laver drainboard 8 are dried by the turbulent flow. |
