The carton made from a single cardboard blank has its top closed by two longitudinal flaps (10,11) and two short end flaps (12) bent inwards under them. A further end flap has a narrow part (42) and a quadrant shaped part (47), the latter forming the horizontal top section of a hinged flap which is swung open to uncover a dispensing hole in the flap (12) underneath. The remainder (50) of the hinged flap is a vertical rectangle formed by two perforated lines at right angles on one side (14) of the carton. When those lines are severed, the whole flap can be pulled outwards, swinging it about its vertical edge (35). The quadrant has a projecting lug (40) which contacts a shoulder (49) on the narrow part (42) limiting its travel. Each longitudinal flap has a clearance slot (17,18) for the dispensing hole. Inside is a moisture proof bag. USE/ADVANTAGE - The hinged flap can be returned to a sealing position after use.
