The invention relates to an internal-axis rotary engine with a roller-shaped outer rotor which rotates in a casing about a central axis of rotation and has a stroke slot in which a roller-shaped inner rotor rotates about a rotor axis arrange at a distance from the axis of rotation. In order to be able to set different inputs in as simple a manner as possible in such a rotary engine, the inner rotor is mounted in the two side plates of the outer rotor in a manner which allows it to pivot about the axis of rotation of the latter.
