PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ZN-FE-CU-METHIONINE LIGAND COMPLEX

A method for prepg. metal methionine ligand complex comprises (i) mixing each soln. of zinc (II), iron (II) and copper (II) or their resp. sulfate, chloride, acetate or oxide in the ratio of Zn 10-50%, Fe 1.0-20%, Cu 0.2-20% to form a soln., (ii) adding methionine soln. to the former soln. by the mole ratio of 1:1, (iii) heating for 0.5-3 hr at 60-90 deg.C and at pH 3.0-4.5 until to clear, (iv) adding EtOh to complete rxn. and cool in ambient temp. at pH 5.0-7.0 and (v) filtering and air-drying.
