In the described device for measuring angle and velocity, a velocity sensor is integrated into a wind (air) vane or drift vane in such a way that the axis of rotation of the vane is arranged to align exactly with the velocity sensor. This permits a velocity signal to be transferred, for example, by means of a Hall sensor irrespective of the angle of attack. At the same time, it is also possible to detect the drift angle, e.g. by means of the Hall sensor.
