In a hydraulic pressure switch for the actuation of a circuit with the aid of a microswitch according to a predetermined hydraulic pressure, which deflects a hydraulic switching member which has in a housing behind a pressure-medium connection bore a feeding bore for the plunger piston, which is supported by means of a spring on a screw-in cover which serves for setting the switching pressure by means of the spring stress, there being an indexing plate provided on the plunger piston for the actuating element of the microswitch, it is proposed by the invention that on the housing there is provided a transverse bore which serves for the screwing-in of a read-off pressure gauge for setting the spring prestress or of a dummy plug and leads with a branch bore in axial alignment with it into a channel bore, into which the feeding bore opens.
