TREATMENT FOR PREVENTION OF FALSIFICATION

PURPOSE:To permit a falsification preventive treatment of documents, etc., without requiring special devices and stages by transferring a white and plate color toner or transparent toner having weak hiding power to part of the falsification preventive region of the documents by using an electrophotographic copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A developing device contg. the white toner is mounted on the copying machine body and the document to be subjected to the falsification preventive treatment is mounted as transfer paper in a cassette. An original formed with a solid black part in the position corresponding to the falsification preventive region is prepd. as an original and this original is imposed on an original platen in such a manner that the solid black part corresponds to the falsification preventive region. A white toner image corresponding to the solid black part of the original is transferred to the falsification preventive region of the transfer paper (document) if copying is carried out under such conditions. The transparent toner having weak hiding power is used as such white toner. A protective layer consisting of the white toner is thereby coated on the falsification preventive region of the document. The information stated in the falsification preventive region coated with the white toner is visible through the white toner as the hiding power of the white toner is weak.
