摘要 PURPOSE:To enable excellent loading of sheets irrespective of the angle of a sheet loading means, by a method wherein, in a duplicator, through detection of the angle of a discharge sheet loading means, a sheet loading mode is differed. CONSTITUTION:During a no-fold mode, sheets are discharged in an ordinary manner irrespective of the angle of a tray 515 detected by a tray switching sensor 551. During a Z-fold mode, when a size A3 is detected when the tray is in an erecting state, a clutch 523 is disengaged after lapse of a time in which the sheet passes, for example, 58 mm from a discharge detecting sensor 525, and in the case of a size B4, it is disengaged after lapse of a time in which it passes 48 mm. Under a state in which the tray 515 falls, the clutch 523 is disengaged in a position where the sheet is moved 35 mm commencing with run-OFF of the sensor 525, i.e. a position, being 13 mm this side of the leftmost end of a sheet discharge belt 529, irrespective of size. Meanwhile, during a halffold mode, the clutch 523 is not disengaged under a tray-rising state, high speed discharge is effected. This constitution enables normally excellent loading of sheets.
