Method and device for fitting a microwave aerial

A method is specified for manually fitting on an upright tube a microwave aerial with a plane reflector by means of a fastening device arranged on the rear side of the latter, in which, to achieve as little outlay as possible, a fitting aid equipped with a hanging device and a clamping clip is detachably fastened on the upright tube by means of the clamping clip, the microwave aerial is hung by an element of its fastening device into the hanging device, the clamping clip being arranged in such a way that the hung microwave aerial is at least roughly aligned in the desired azimuth position, the microwave aerial is fastened on the upright tube in the desired azimuth position with the aid of the fastening device and finally the fitting aid is detached again from the upright tube. In the case of a preferred fitting aid for carrying out this method, the hanging device has two hook-shaped receiving elements, which can be hung in the microwave aerial by a corresponding part of the fastening device and which are designed and/or arranged in such a way that the hung part lies perpendicularly with respect to the upright tube. It is particularly advantageous in this case to design the hanging device such that it can be swivelled with respect to the swivelling clip fastened on the upright tube in a plane perpendicular to the upright tube.
