PURPOSE:To improve gas permeability, water repellency and mechanical strength by forming a filter installed in the inside of an exhaust stopper with a ceramic madreporic body and by coating the inside surface of many pores, which pass gases, with fluorine. CONSTITUTION:The inside surface of many pores of a madreporic body is uniformly coated with a film of a graft polymer of fluorine group. The madreporic body consists of fused alumina, or silicon carbide, etc., which have electrolytic solution proof characteristics. The fluorine graft polymer film consists of a hydrophilic segment and a hydrophobic segment with fluorine. When the madreporic body is impregnated with the polymer solution, the hydrophilic segment moves to the pore interface of the madreporic body, which is hydrophilic, and the polymer is bonded with the madreporic body by van der Waals force. The hydrophobic segment moves to a hydrophobic surface. Thus, the inside surface of all pores of the madreporic body is uniformly coated with a film conof a graft polymer of fluorine group. |
