A wiperblade comprises at least two yokes (44, 46) with one end of one yoke connected pivotally to an intermediate portion of the other yoke. The one end of the one yoke (46) is formed to have a pair of walls (62) defining therebetween a recess (91), and the intermediate portion (96) adapted to be received in the recess. The walls and the projecting portion slidingly engage with each other along vertical side surfaces and along arcuate end surfaces of the recess and the projecting portion. Projections (52) and cutouts (72) are provided respectively on the walls and recess to retain the connected condition.
