摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify the adjusting work and to extend intervals at which markers to be detected are provided, by storing the tendency of error peculiar to a guide controller in a carriage and providing a function which corrects the guide control method to cancel this error. CONSTITUTION:A correction coefficient corresponding to a certain section stored in a correction coefficient storage device 26 is outputted to a current position operating device 21 and an adding circuit 25 through an input/output device 27. The device 21 obtains current position coordinates XS, YS of the carriage by operation. A subtracting circuit 22 obtains values Xa-Xs and Ya-Ys, namely, the operation error in accordance with absolute position coordinates Xa, Ya of the carriage obtained by an absolute position detector 11. An arithmetic circuit 23 subjects the arithmetic error of the circuit 22 to operation to obtain an average arithmetic error in (x) and (y) directions. An amplifying circuit 24 multiplies the output of the circuit 23 by convergence coefficients (a) and (b). An adding circuit 25 adds the correction coefficient per a unit running distance, which is inputted from the circuit 24, to the correction coefficient stored in the device 26 to obtain a new correction coefficient. The pertinent correction coefficient in the device 26 is replaced with this obtained correction coefficient.
