PURPOSE:To form a resin compsn. which has excellent resistance to impact and stress crack without causing lowering in the excellent properties inherent to a polyphenylene ether resin, by blending a polyphenylene ether resin with a styrene resin and a specific pre-kneaded compsn. CONSTITUTION:This resin compsn. is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. in total, of 20-80pts.wt. polyphenylene ether resin (a) and 80-20pts.wt. styrene resin (b), and 1-20pts.wt. pre-kneaded compsn. (c) consisting of 30-70pts.wt. polyolefin polymer and 70-30pts.wt. resinous block copolymer of the formula (wherein A is an arom. vinyl block; B is a conjugated diene hydrocarbon block; n is an integer of 1 or 2; the content of the component A is more than 50wt.%, but not more than 65wt.%).
