发明名称 RESIN-BONDED RARE EARTH/IRON MAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve magnetic performances and decrease the manufacturing cost by adding thermoplastic resin to a magnetic power where its fundamental composition is composed of rare earth metals, iron and boron, thereby forming a magnet in the form of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin is added as a binder to a magnetic powder where its fundamental composition is composed of rare earth metals, iron and a magnet is shaped in the form of a sheet. In such a case, it may be well for a part of the ferrous metals to be replaced with a transition metals group of more than a sort of them at least among the transition metals group other than the ferrous metals such as cobalt and the like. And the particle from of the magnet like a sheet is formed into a ribbon shape of 20mu or less thickness with a quenching thin band technique. In the case of a roll formation technique, the magnetic powder 4 like ribbon in thermoplastic resin 3 is placed in the direction of a plane under the pressure of rolls 2 on passing through between rolls 1 and its arrangement facilitates fluidity of the magnetic powder, even though the density of magnetic powder becomes greater. As to magnetic performances, energy held by the magnetic power itself is larger than that of conventional rare earth and cobalt system by 20% and even as an isotropic resin bonding type, (BH) max has a high performance like 4 MGOe or more.
