PURPOSE:To enable the immediate measurement of an outside corner radius by a method wherein a pair of columnar members, pin cages, on the tangential plane of the connecting part of which the fore end of a measurer is located are pressed on the outside corner radius to be measured and the amount of displacement of the measurer is computed. CONSTITUTION:A removable attachment 4 is fitted to the front end 1a of a displacement sensor 1, and a pair of columnar members, pin cages 3, having axes perpendicular to an arrow A are fixed in the central part of the fore end 4a of the attachment. A hole 5 for a measurer is provided so that it passes through the pin cages 3 and the attachment 4, and the measurer 2 is set slidably therein. An electric displacement signal corresponding to the amount of the slide of the measurer 2 in the opposite direction to the arrow A, i.e. the amount of the withdrawal thereof is inputted from the displacement sensor 1 to an arithmetic device 6 of a microcomputer and subjected to an arithmetic processing. Then, a measured value is determined on the basis of informations stored beforehand. An output from the arithmetic device 6 is inputted to a display device 7 and displayed digitally thereon.
