PURPOSE:To avert blocking of a one-component high-resistant magnetic toner by holding said toner by a toner holding member and magnetically and mechanically disturbing the toner layer controlled in thickness by a rotating cylindrical member provided on the upper stream side of a toner layer thickness control member and the control member during the time when the toner layer is conveyed up to said control member. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical toner holding member 3 which can be turned in order to rube the magnetic toner is disposed on the surface of an image carrier 1 and a magnetic field generating means consisting of a multipolar permanent magnet is provided in said member. The control member 6 for controlling the magnetic toner to a thin layer 2 is disposed on the surface of the member 3 in proximity thereto and the rotating cylindrical member 7 for disturbing the toner which is positioned within the range acted by the magnetic field of the generating means 9 and in proximity to the surface of the holding member 3 is provided on the upper stream side thereof. The control member 8 for controlling the amt. of the toner to be conveyed in proximity to the member 3 surface is disposed on the upper stream side thereof and the toner layer 3 passed in the magnetic field and deposited on the member 3 is mechanically and forcibly disturbed by these members, by which the granulation of the toner is prevented. |
