PURPOSE:To carry out the highly accurate control of blade feed in accordance with various pipe-cut specification without the necessity of selecting and preparing a large amount of record tape or the like by an operator, by providing such an arrangement that the specification of a pipe to be cut is directly inputted and computed. CONSTITUTION:In a saw cutter, a blade feed cylinder 7 is raised by controlling the speed of a hydraulic drive unit with the use of a blade feed control device. Further, the raised position of the cylinder 7 is detected by a blade feed detecting counter 14. In view of the specification of pipe-cut which is set by a specification setting units such as, for example, a pipe wall thickness setting unit 21, a pipe outer diameter setting unit 22, a pipe number setting unit 23, etc., a pipe-cut length at each blade feed is computed by a pipe cut-length computing circuit 20, and is stored in a pipe-cut length storing memory 19 at each blade feed. Thus, the highly accurate control of blade feed may be carried out in accordance with various specifications without the necessity of selecting and preparing a large amount of record tape, etc. |
