PURPOSE:To prevent the melting of a substrate and the cracking of a superconducting material from occurring at the time of production by setting the liquid phase generating temperature of the substrate higher than the sintering temperature of the ceramic superconducting material and setting its thermal expansion coefficient approximate to that of the ceramic superconducting material. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting material is used so that the liquid phase generating temperature of a substrate is higher than the sintering temperature of a ceramic superconducting material and the thermal expansion coefficient of the substrate is approximate to that of the ceramic superconducting material. In this case, the difference between the shrinkage quantity of a sintered body and the thermal expansion quantity of the substrate when the superconducting material is generated can be reduced. For example, if a substrate having the liquid phase generating temperature of 1000 deg.C or higher is used, the substrate can be reliably prevented from being dissolved when sintered, and if a substrate having the thermal expansion coefficient of 10X10<-6> or less is used, the superconducting material can be reliably prevented from being cracked.
