PURPOSE:To improve the erasing efficiency of a recording signal, by forming the operating gap of a head sliding plane in almost a V-shape, and permitting all of the magnetic flux being generated in a head core chip to flow on a magnetic metallic film. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic flux generated in a head core main body flows from the head core chip 11 at a right front part in a direction of the head core chip 10 at a left rear part, and passes through the magnetic metallic film 15 formed on the internal plane of a V-shaped groove 12, and the magnetic flux in the neighborhood of a V-shaped operating gap 13 flows in a direction of arrow head (l). Therefore, all of the magnetic flux generated in the head core main body flow in the V-shaped operating gap 13, then, form a magnetic circuit. Next, by traveling a recording medium with a high coercive force by bringing it into contact with the head sliding plane 16 of the head core main body, the recording signal of the recording medium is magnetized and erased by the magnetic flux being generated from the gap of two V-shaped sides of the gap 13. Therefore, the recording signal is erased by the one V-shaped side of the gap 13, and furthermore, it is erased by the gap of another one V-shaped side. |
