发明名称 EXHAUST GAS PURIFYING MATERIAL AND METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently remove carbonaceous fine particles in exhaust gas, by supporting an alkali metal (1) and a catalytic component (2) composed of at least one kind of an element selected from a transition metal containing an element of the Group IIB of the Periodic Table and tin by a heat resistant filter. CONSTITUTION:A gas purifying material is prepared by supporting one or more kind of an alkali metal and a catalytic component containing at least one kind of an element selected from a group consisting of a transition metal containing even an element of the Group IIB of the Periodic Table and tin by a heat resistant filter composed of alumina, silica or titania. This gas purifying material is used and the carbonaceous fine particles in exhaust gas are utilized as a reducing agent to reduce nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas to purify said gas. That is, by the synergistic effect generated by allowing the alkali metal, the transition metal and tin to coexist with the carbonaceous fine particles, nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas is effectively reduced to effectively purify the exhaust gas.
