<p>PURPOSE:To enable the recording and reproducing for a long period of time by constituting the title loader in such a manner that two cassettes horizontally loaded in a cassette loader are selectively transferred to a tape driving position by a transfer means and an elevator means. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 26 inserted in the loader 10 is transferred from a position B to to a position a and then descended to a position D where the recording and reproducing take place, and is ejected out at the end of the reverse course again. In the case of using two cassettes for the recording and reproducing, when a cassette 26b arrives at the position B, a cassette 26a is moved from the position D to the position C and simultaneously the cassette 26b is moved to the position where the recording and reproducing take place. At the time of the recording and reproducing on the cassette 26a again, the cassette 26b is moved from the position D to the position B and simultaneously the cassette 26a is moved from the position C to the position D. Consequently, two cassettes are loadable alternately into the tape driving position D, and hence the recording and reproducing for a long period of time can be actualized. In addition, the individual positions are detected by sensors 28-31.</p> |
