Process for drying delicate products, e.g. wood, in which the product to be dried is warmed in a drying chamber and is dried by the circulation of drying air from which the moisture is removed by condensation drying, characterized in that the product to be dried is heated to the drying temperature and subsequently the temperature of the drying air is reduced, that the reduction of the temperature is to a value which is below the temperature of the product to be dried, whereafter the actual drying process is begun in which the drying air is dehumidified by condensation drying and subsequently moisture is withdrawn from the product, alternately. |
