<p>A radio-signal responsive apparatus for controlling mobile equipment according to the present invention comprises a receiving unit (9, 41, 74, 100) for receiving a radio signal emitted based upon a communication signal from a telephone set as an originator and for generating a signal to be detected in response to the radio signal; housing means (8, 91, 102) provided in the vehicle to accommodate the receiving unit; means (D, 42, 73) for detecting the signal generated by said receiving unit to produce a detected signal; control means (S, S', 43, 60) responsive to the detected signal from said detecting means to produce a control signal based at least upon the detected signal; and means (A, F, 52, 56, 46, 68, 75, 517A) for controlling at least one piece of predetermined mobile equipment in response to the control signal from said control means. This simple and low-cost arrangement enables remote control for mobile equipment and thereby enables both reception and transmission using a mobile telephone set which does not have a receiving function.</p> |
