PURPOSE:To prevent increase in liquid consimption by providing a throttler valve, which limits the intercommunicating condition when a liquid pressure in a wheel cylinder exceeds a set value, on the way of a brake liquid pressure circuit for connecting supply/exhaust switching vlaves which are controlled in response to the wheel lock state in the liquid pressure circuit and a reservoir to each other. CONSTITUTION:A wheel lock preventing device, which controls a brake liquid pressure discharged from a master cylinder 11 and applied to a wheel cylinder 12, is provided with a supply switching valve 21 and an exhaust switching vlave 22. And, in a controller 20, according to output from a brake pedal switch 24, the lock condition in a wheel 13 is detected by means of a signal from a sensor 23 so that the respective switching valve 21, 22 are controlled so as to properly prevent the wheel lock. In this case, on the liquid pressure circuit connecting the exhaust switching vlave 22 to a reservoir 11a attached to the master cylinder 11, there is interposed a throttle valve V for controlling the intercommunication between the exhaust switching valve 22 and the reservoir 11a when a liquid pressure in the wheel cylinder 12 exceeds a set vlaue.
